We’re thrilled to host a test screening of peace love (unicorns) & communism, a documentary directed by Adeola Egbeyemi, one of our past 2023 Technical Residents!

Interviews with former students spotlight a vibrant but harrowing history of student political movements on the McMaster University campus in this feature-length documentary. This is a test screening of the film. Audience members will be given a debrief & questionnaire before the screening and asked to fill it out at the end. A short Q&A with members of the crew will follow. Viewing length: 99 minutes.
Content warning: The film features discussions relating to sexual violence, police violence and disordered eating.
Adeola Egbeyemi (producer/director) lives in Hamilton, Ontario. Her writing was last published in Foyer Magazine (2023) and she works at an environmental non-profit.
