FUNDRAISER: Support Gaza’s Medical Students
Doctors and medical workers in Gaza have been targeted as part of a campaign to prevent Palestinians from keeping their people alive. Every university in Gaza has been destroyed. Medical education inside Gaza has been systematically erased. In this context of scholasticide, the education of Palestinian doctors becomes a collective responsibility.
Two Gazan medical students (a brother and sister) are studying in Egypt after being displaced and separated from their parents who remain in tents in Gaza. Last year we raised funds to cover their overdue tuition. This year, our fundraising event will keep them in their programs for one more year. Tuition is paid directly to their university, Zagazig University Hospital.
These students have not allowed the bombing, displacement, and total devastation to hinder their education, and we will continue to support them through their studies.
Your donation supports Gaza’s future healers. It means refusing a world where Palestinians are denied the ability to care for their own people.
If you are not attending but would like to support our fundraiser, use the donation only option.
